Youth Swim Team practices begin May 31, 2022 and are held after school Monday- Friday through June 24. Starting Monday June 27, 2022, morning practices begin. The season runs through the end of July. Most swim meets are held on Saturdays. Dates for the meets will be announced in early spring.
In order to register a youth for the Chase Creek Swim Team (CCST), the family must be a member of Chase Creek Swim Club.
Registration opens March 1, 2022. Pricing for the 2022 season:
$150 for the first child
$125 for the second child
$100 for the third child
$75 for the fourth child
We swim as part of the Greater Annapolis Swim League (GASL), which is made up of 20 swim teams located throughout the county. The teams are divided into four divisions A-D, and the Blue Crabs (CCST) compete in Division A. We will be competing against Bay Ridge, Davidsonville, Hillsmere, Hunt Meadow, and Evergreen swim teams.
SWIM TEAM PRACTICE TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
May 31 - June 24, 2022
6 and Under - 3:45 to 4:30 PM
7-8 year old - 3:45 to 4:30 PM
9-10 year old - 4:30 to 5:15 PM
11-12 year old - 5:15 to 6:00 PM
13-18 year old - 6:00 to 6:45 PM
June 27 - July 22, 2022
6 and Under - 7:45 to 8:30 AM
7-8 year old - 7:45 to 8:30 AM
9-10 year old - 8:30 to 9:15 AM
11-12 year old - 9:15 to 10:00 AM
13-18 year old - 10:00 to 10:45 AM
There will be 5 in-person, morning swim meets this summer:
June 18: AWAY, CCST at Hillsmere
June 25: AWAY, CCST at Evergreen (this is an inter league A/B meet)
July 2: HOME, Bay Ridge at CCST
July 9: HOME, Hunt Meadow at CCST
July 16: HOME, Davidsonville at CCST
The medal meets will be Bronze on 7/20, Silver 7/23, and Gold 7/24.
In order to swim on our swim team, a child must be able to pass our swim test (be able to swim one length of the pool and tread water for 60 seconds).
